Ceylona® is a new compact ornamental grass plant variety of Pogonatherum paniceum. With a dense, fast-growing habit and broad, uniform leaves, it offers strong visual structure and ease of care. Developed in partnership with Serendib Horticulture Technologies in Sri Lanka, Ceylona® is exclusively available worldwide through Ornamentex.
Although often referred to as “Baby Panda Bamboo”, this plant is in fact a grass. Its clean leaf form, tidy growth, and compact structure make it a standout among ornamental grasses. Whether used as a decorative houseplant or in modern green styling projects, Ceylona® delivers clear shape and minimal care requirements.

🧪 Growing & Availability
Production takes place in reliable Asian laboratories under strict quality control. The recommended pot size is 12 cm. Under Dutch growing conditions, plants are ready for sale within 10–12 weeks after potting. Hardening from tissue culture to a pottable plant takes approximately 8 weeks.
