Internationally oriented
Ornamentex BV is an export- and import company of tropical young plants.
For our exports we collect varieties from many different breeders and growers and consolidate these young plants in order to be shipped to customers all over the world, mainly outside Europe all by airfreight. Because of these consolidations we are saving a lot of money for our customers. We have specialists in our company who know exactly how to deal with Phyto-requirements, import permits and all other document issues of each specific country of destination. More and more breeders find us in order to make use of our services and expertise to make sure their products will reach their final destination in good shape at the right time.
On behalf of many European growers we import young plants from Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, India, Guatemala and South Africa. Together with Florica Farms and Antho Ornamentales in Costa Rica we start to bring to Europe a new methodology developed for preventing pest infestation in a plant. Our new composition will reduce or eliminate the chemicals used in young plants, cuttings and canes from Costa Rica! Plants will arrive with no leaf insects, treated eggs with 100% mortality, including no parasitoids and all accomplished without harming the environment and with a minimal insecticide dip post harvest.
